The Heritage Farmstead Museum presents the Third Annual FarmFest, a fall family event celebrating our agricultural heritage. The Farmstead invites you to come and experience a “county fair” type atmosphere including blacksmith demonstrations, tours of the historic Farrell Wilson home, hands on activities, animal exhibits, tractor rides, live entertainment, food, contests, beverages and so much more. Special exhibits include Tractors and Hit ‘n Miss Engines from the Wylie Tractor Club, as well as Romulus and Remus: the Tallest Donkeys in the WORLD.

Haunt Jaunt 5K and Fun Run

The Haunt Jaunt is a night-time Halloween-themed race hosted by the City of Plano. It is our goal to provide a safe, fun, and innovative way for citizens to enjoy their Halloween holiday. The 5K will take you through the nature preserve along the paved park trails and streets, combining the convenience of a smooth running surface and the beauty of the Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve. The 1-Mile Fun Run will keep you off the street and in the park for a family-friendly experience. For each child registered for the 1-Mile Fun Run, one free adult entry in the 1-Mile Fun Run will be granted as well.
