Zane Ponsetti began his career at 16, working for a moving company in Midland, Texas. It was one of his first jobs in high school. “I learned a lot about moving that first summer,” says Ponsetti
Only a few years later, Ponsetti decided it was time to take all of his learned moving skills and keen business sense and open up shop for himself.
“I had always wanted to start my own business.” Ponsetti says. “After saving up enough money to buy my first trailer I opened the doors to Wildcat Movers.
Although Ponsetti has moving down to a science, he faces daily challenges that he and his movers must navigate in order to get the job done well and in a timely and professional manner. The summer heat, Ponsetti says, is a difficult challenge. Being professional movers in Texas, Ponsetti and his team have to be careful to remain hydrated and properly sunscreened, as the Texas sun easily saps a person of their energy. After the Texas summer heat, Ponsetti notes, stairs come in at a close second. Moving someone’s lifetime of belongings, valuables, and fragile items down several flights of stairs can be a daunting task, but the Wildcat Movers team is up for the challenge.
“All of our movers at Wildcat Movers are trained professional movers.” says Ponsetti. “You have the comfort of knowing that everyone we send into your home is a professional. When you hire professional they will get the job done faster without damaging your furniture.”
The success speaks for itself. With several five-star ratings on Yelp and a list of repeat clients, Wildcat Movers is College Station‘s go-to moving company.
As far as Zane’s professional advice for someone planning a big move?
“Organize, Organize, Organize. The more organized our customers are, the faster and more efficiently we move.” Ponsetti says. “I could talk all day on this topic.”
Here is Zane’s list of the top three things someone can do to make moving day move quickly and efficiently:
1 Donate, Sell, or Trash items that you aren’t moving.
2. Buy new uniform boxes. Small, Medium, Large, Wardrobe.
3. Label boxes on 2 sides, and the top. Organize boxes by size as you pack.
