Event: Dallas Mom Expo
A two-day trade show featuring exhibitors with items specially designed for women and children from newborn to school age, educational demonstrations, play areas for the kids, and entertainment for the whole family. The Dallas Mom Expo is for women in all stages of motherhood, allowing women to share their bond with one another and to motive and inspire young families as they venture through the journey of motherhood.

Event: Nature Explorers Families Club
The first Sunday of each month the Nature Explore Families Club at the Environmental Education Center offers family-friendly activities that helps connect children and their and families with nature. The month of January carries the theme Animal Clues, where families will learn about the lives of wild animals through the evidence that the animals leave behind. Families will even make a track-book as a souvenir of the day!

Although appointments are booked for the month of January for sterilization service, the Plano Animal Shelter is offering low-cost vaccinations from 10a-noon for cats and dogs. Veterinary bills can be expensive-take advantage of this low-cost special! No appointment is necessary.
