Fall Activities in Your New Neighborhood

One of the best parts about moving is discovering new events in your new neighborhood. The Bryan-College station area offers many events, especially in the fall, from live musical acts to family-friendly activities.

This weekend, the last weekend in October, the community calendar is chock-full of fun things to do.

Here is Wildcat Movers’ top 5 list of fall-themed activities this weekend.

1. Allen Academy’s Fall Fest-a Family Friendly Activity

A festival for the whole family, the Allen Academy Fall Fest offers evening bounce houses, cake walks, carnival games, and more. The proceeds from this all-ages event benefit Allen students and teachers.

2. Fright Night at the Palace Theatre

A Halloween-themed event featuring a Haunted House (for those 16 and up) sure to shock and thrill. Only running for a short time longer, the Palace Theatre has added even more chilling scenes to their already exciting Haunted House. Fright Night also provides children’s Halloween activities for kids under 16. With only this Thursday thru Saturday left, there’s little time to go and celebrate Halloween The best part about this event is that the proceeds benefit area animal rescues and shelters!

3. Murder Mystery Dinner at Messina Hof Winery & Resort

If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience complete with delicious food, wine, and Halloween-esque decorations, the Murder Mystery Dinner at Messina Hof is just what you’re looking for. This event is perfect for a Halloween-themed date night. Reservations are a must, so be sure to call ahead and book your table!

4.  Lone Star Trapeze Academy

If Halloween isn’t your thing but you’re still down for a thrill, Lone Star Trapeze Academy has got you covered. Hosting a fun (and SAFE!) trapeze flying class for those of all ages. Their experienced team teaches you how to perform trapeze tricks. Lone Star Trapeze is open year-round, but calling ahead is essential to fill up fast!
